  1. IP PBX System

    An IP PBX transforms telephony by using IP networks for communication within and beyond the organisation. It acts as the central hub for call routing, forwarding and voicemail, carrying voice and data locally and over the internet, with features and flexibility beyond traditional analogue systems.

    • Extension dial plans, hunt groups and ring strategies
    • Auto-attendant and IVR menus, with time-of-day and holiday routing
    • Voicemail, voicemail-to-email and call recording
    • Queues, transfer, pickup, park and conference bridges

  2. Trunking

    Trunks are the lines that connect VoIP systems to external networks. PSTN is the traditional phone system with analogue or digital connections; PRI is a digital trunk for high-capacity links carrying multiple voice channels over ISDN; GSM trunks reach mobile networks through cellular channels; and SIP trunking — the latest technology — carries voice as digital packets over IP for cost-efficient, scalable, flexible communication.

  3. IP Telephony

    IP telephony enables voice and video communication over IP networks, using voice and video IP phones as well as softphones — software-based phones on computers or mobile devices — integrated with conferencing, messaging and remote accessibility. It is popular in business for enhancing mobility and supporting unified communication.

    SIP speakers use IP networks for announcements and music streaming, ideal for schools, offices and public spaces. They integrate with VoIP systems for remote control, enabling clear paging, emergency alerts and background music across large areas.

A single CAT6 run for CCTV, telephony and announcements

We have recently introduced a solution for educational institutions, factories and offices that uses a single CAT6 cable to serve multiple functions within the classroom. The all-in-one system includes CCTV cameras, a PBX system for communication management, and a public announcement system that can be activated by dialling a single number from any connected phone.

Announcements go to specific classrooms or groups — dial 900 for the whole of the ninth grade, 901 for 9A, and so on — and can also be broadcast through an IP-based horn speaker for larger areas such as playgrounds.
